Marble polishing is the mechanical restoration of dull, scratched or etched marble: diamond pads grind off the damaged surface layer, then the stone is polished back to a shine and sealed. We do it in homes, lobbies and offices across KL & Selangor, and it costs a fraction of ripping the floor out and replacing it.
Marble that looks finished is usually only worn on the top layer, and that layer can be taken off and polished back. Our specialists restore every surface listed below, and the machines, diamond pads and compounds are included in the quote.
Marble restoration runs in a fixed sequence: grind, hone, polish, seal. Skip a stage and you can see it in the finish, so we don't skip.

The floor gets stripped of dirt, old wax and any coating sitting on top, so the diamonds work on bare, clean stone instead of on a film.
We work through progressively finer diamond abrasives. Each pass cuts just below the damage, levelling out scratches, etch marks and worn traffic lanes.
Powder polishing closes up the surface and brings the marble's own shine and lustre back to a uniform, mirror-like finish.
A penetrating sealer soaks in and protects the stone against future stains and etching. Then a final buff, and we walk the floor with you.

Yes, and that's exactly what diamond grinding and honing are for. Progressively finer abrasives physically cut away the damaged layer of stone, taking scratches, acid etching and water marks off with it, and the shine is then polished back up. We'll be honest at the inspection about the limits: deep cracks, missing chips and previous bad repairs may not disappear completely.
Because the cloudiness isn't dirt. It's thousands of micro-scratches and etch marks scattering the light instead of reflecting it, and acidic household cleaners make it worse every time they're used. Mopping can't reach that. The surface has to be mechanically re-polished.
With sealing and sensible care, years. What wears it back down is foot traffic, the grit people track in on their shoes and acidic spills left sitting on the stone. At handover we'll go through stone-safe cleaning products and where to put door mats, and commercial floors can go on a recurring maintenance program.
