Our Story

The Story of Ultra Cleaning

Ultra Cleaning started in 2013 as a small part-time maid service in Puchong — a handful of dedicated cleaners and a simple promise: show up on time, clean like it's your own home, and never leave a customer unhappy.

That promise carried us further than we imagined. Year by year, satisfied customers recommended us to their neighbours, offices and businesses — and the team grew from a few cleaners into more than 800 trained and vetted specialists across 13 branches in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor.

Today, Ultra Cleaning is a Malaysia Book of Records holder with 25,212 properties serviced in a single year, recognised by the SHIPBA Business Awards, Malaysia's G Forty Top 40 and the Nanyang Top Ten Iconic Young Leaders Award. The mission, though, hasn't changed since day one.

From one part-time maid service to a multi-branch cleaning group — every milestone since 2013.

2013

Where it all began

Ultra Cleaning Part-Time Maid Service is established in Puchong, serving homes across the neighbourhood with a small team of dedicated cleaners.

2015

Ultra Cleaning Project Puchong established

We expand beyond home cleaning into project-based cleaning — post-renovation, commercial and large-scale jobs across the Klang Valley.

2017

KDN & CIDB certified

Ultra Cleaning earns its KDN and CIDB certifications — formal recognition that our teams and processes meet Malaysia's industry standards.

2020

Eco Aircond joins the family & manpower solutions launch

Eco Aircond joins Ultra Cleaning, adding air-conditioning servicing to our range, and we begin providing manpower solutions for businesses.

2021

Pest control launches & Cheras branch opens

Ultra Cleaning Pest Control is established, and our first branch outside Puchong opens in Cheras to serve customers across Kuala Lumpur.

2022

Three new branches & Ultra Pool Care

Ultra Pool Care is established, and new branches open in Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya — bringing Ultra Cleaning closer to more Klang Valley homes.

2023

The team passes 500 employees

Branches open in Kepong and Kuchai Lama, and the Ultra Cleaning family grows to more than 500 trained employees across Malaysia.

2024

Ultra Hygiene established

Ultra Hygiene launches, completing our one-stop range — cleaning services, manpower, aircond, pest control, pool care and hygiene supplies under one group.

Benny Chai founded Ultra Cleaning in 2013 as a part-time maid service in Puchong, and has led its growth into one of Malaysia's most recognised cleaning companies — 13 branches, more than 800 trained specialists and a one-stop family of cleaning, aircond, pest, pool and hygiene brands.

Under his leadership, Ultra Cleaning entered The Malaysia Book of Records with 25,212 properties serviced in a single year, and Benny himself has been honoured among Malaysia's most promising young business leaders.

Rocky Chai

Rocky Chai serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ultra Cleaning, working across every branch and service line to keep one operating standard in place, whether the job is an hourly home clean, a post-renovation handover or a commercial contract.

The scale is what makes that demanding: 13 branches across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor and more than 800 trained specialists, each team running its own equipment and schedules. The common thread is the documented SOP every specialist is trained on, and the ISO 9001:2015 quality system the company is certified to.

Alongside founder Benny Chai and the executive team, his focus is turning that structure into something a customer actually feels, which is the same standard of work on every job and at every branch.
